parable yawww ! ^_^

like first attempt, i would like to describe what is mean by PARABLE. do you know? do you? even though yo already know i'll still explain.. ^_^

PARABLE  like what i've being told  is ~ the symbolic expression of a deeper meaning trough a story or scene acted out by human, animal or mythical character.
PARABLE like in Oxford &Thesaurus is ~ a story told to illustrate a moral 
PARABLE like in Oxford Dictionary is ~a short story that teaches a lesson, especially one told by Jesus in the Bible (no offend)

compare three of the definition all of it just based on the same thing which is parable is a story which is told in order to convey the moral and lesson towards others. 

one of the example of parable is the allegory of the cave which is also the parable of the prisoner.

this is the illustration of the story where the setting is in a cave 

where this is the example of parable being told to describe the moral.

in other story like what we have discussed in critical literacy classes many of the students came out with a different kind of example of parable.

like one of our classmate have done is about the movie i am legend.

this is the synchronise about the movie ant the character in the allegory of the cave above.

the prisoner = Robert Neville (Will Smith) the main character in the movie

the chain = the boundary of the city and the limited excess

the fire = the virus infection 

the shadows and the images = the city and town where there's no people and connection

the puppet player = the mutant 

the old man = the woman and the child

can guess why this can be as the parable with that synchronization of the character? 

watch the movie and you'll know the deeper meaning and it will make you think and this a critical thinking moment ! ^_^
